Backyard Cornhole

Privacy

Backyard Cornhole is a free game from RTG Game Labs, a brand of Winter Watermelon. You can play without an account.

Your scores

This browser saves your practice best, up to 30 daily best scores and an unfinished round. They stay on this device. If storage is unavailable, play still works but records last only until you leave.

Optional leaderboards

If you choose a Dayplay player name, completed scores and saved bests go to the relevant leaderboard. Other players can see your name and best scores. Without a name, scores stay here. See Dayplay Games privacy for account data and deletion.

Product analytics

Outside the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland, product analytics are on by default. In those regions, and when your region is unknown, we ask first. A refusal, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps analytics off. The control above turns analytics off in one step. This game does not record sessions.

When analytics are allowed, PostHog and Google Analytics measure visits and game actions, with browser identifiers, device information and referring sources. Google Analytics processes connection information, including IP addresses, and retains event data for up to 14 months. Advertising signals and personalization are disabled. Anonymous event-only totals may count visits and completed rounds while analytics are off, without storing an identifier, IP address, user agent or referrer. The opt-out above also stops those totals.

One browser across Dayplay

When analytics are allowed, a random identifier in a first-party cookie connects visits across dayplaygames.com and its game sites for up to one year. PostHog also keeps state in this site’s local storage and a first-party cookie. This analytics ID is separate from your player name and scores and does not connect different devices. Test and team browsers carry a separate shared marker so their activity is excluded from player counts.

Each site keeps its own analytics permission. In consent regions, no shared analytics ID is read or set until you allow analytics on that site. Refusing or turning analytics off on any Dayplay site removes the shared ID and sets a refusal cookie for up to one year, stopping browser analytics across Dayplay in this browser until you explicitly turn analytics back on. Other sites retain their own refusals. Browser privacy signals take precedence. Previously delivered events remain; a later opt-in starts a new ID. Analytics events are kept for at least one year. We use this data to improve games, never for advertising, and do not sell it.

Hosting providers receive connection information needed to serve the game, including your IP address in their logs. That is separate from the choices above.

Home-screen and new-game invitations

While you are choosing a game, or after a round, we may offer a shortcut to the Dayplay collection, where you can add the collection to your home screen using the options your browser supports. This game does not install the collection or ask for notification permission. After installing, you may see an optional invitation to get new-game announcements by email. You must confirm that you are 16 or older and want these emails, then confirm using the email link. No account is needed. You can unsubscribe any time. New-game announcements are sent only after confirmation; see the collection privacy page for how email subscriptions are handled.

Nonidentifying preference cookies are shared across dayplaygames.com and its game sites: dayplay-completed-games contains only a count capped at 2 for seven days; dayplay-prompt-step contains only the fixed value email for seven days; dayplay-prompt-until contains a cooldown time, dayplay-install-invited contains only 1, and dayplay-install-offer contains only c (closed) or m (set aside by play once), for seven days (30 days after requesting confirmation). The collection can set dayplay-app-installed to 1 for up to one year when installation or standalone use is detected. Local storage also remembers these cooldown times, and session storage remembers whether the invitation was closed in this tab. These preferences have no player ID and are not used for analytics. No email address is saved in these browser preferences. If storage is blocked, progress is remembered only while this page stays open.
